ICAHM 2014

The ICAHM 2014:Universal Standards for Archaeological Heritage Management annual conference in Jishou, China offers a unique opportunity to discuss archaeological heritage management on an international level. 

Registration deadline and the deadline for giving in papers have been extended to September 15th.

The sessions that have been selected so far:

  • Integrating research along the Silk Route from the Roman Limes to the Great Wall.
  • Representing and preserving minority cultures.
  • Incorporating intangible culture into management and research programs.
  • The application of aerial and satellite remote sensing to archaeological research and heritage management.
  • Standards and guidance in working with international finance and business.NEW
  • Visit Laosiching Archaeological Site on the 22nd of October NEW
  • Special session at Wulingyuan Scenic Area on the 23rd of October NEW

There will also be a general session on ‘Universal Standards for Archaeological Heritage Management’ and of course ICAHM is open to suggestions and can organize additional sessions as needed.
