  • LinkedIn group merger. There are several web sites, discussion fora and groups addressing 3D cultural heritage and architecture on the Internet. Although on one hand it is nice to go into every niche possible, on the other hand  this results in extra work, tracking different groups and redundancy in information. This also the case for the 3D-Icons and Carare groups on Linked-in. Many of the subscribers are following both groups. The 3D-Icons project decided to merge its Linked-in group with the Carare group. This results in more news in a single location. The merger is planned for end of May. The 3D_Icons group will cease to exist. 3D-Icons followers can join the Carare group here.
  • 3D ICONS in the news.   The Sunday Times featured an article on the activities of the Irish partners in 3D-Icons, the Discovery Programme , in the edition of April 7, 2013. Read more .
