3D ICONS is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of our users.
We do not collect personal information about you when you visit the site unless you choose to provide that information to us, for example by registering or by using the Contact Us email form. If you chose to send us information it will be used for the purpose described or to answer your query/comment. We will pass your details onto another agency only if required to by law or that agency is relevant to your enquiry. We do not collect your information for commercial purposes.
As part of the 3D ICONS registration process for our e-newsletter, we collect personal information.
We use that information for a couple of reasons:
- to keep you informed about news and events related to digital archaeological and architectural heritage;
- to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with any other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.
Any personal details received using the 3D ICONS online contact form will be deleted upon satisfactory completion of the enquiry, unless otherwise agreed.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to us using the contact form.

Information collected automatically
However, some information is collected and stored automatically when you visit the site. This information does not identify you personally and includes:
